I was born in Burma but grew up in the Thailand refugee camp. I spent 16 years in Thailand before coming to the USA on June 23, 2008. I started going to Paul Harding High School as a sophomore and was enrolled in ESL program for a year. At Paul Harding, I focused on achieving my goals including learning English, participating in extracurricular activities, and doing well in all my classes. I speak Burmese and English. I also found a part time job at a local restaurant to help my parents financially. Moving to a new country and settling was a huge challenge for my family and I. I graduated high school in 2011 but also enjoy doing make up, hairs, and it’s also my passion. I went beauty school for a year and graduated in 2015 .I worked at a salon for one year. I’m currently employed at Sebastian Family Psychology Practice, LLC as a Burmese interpreter.

I left my country, Myanmar, when I was really young due to various circumstances and went to Malaysia. I came to the United States in 2015, graduated High School in 2018, and graduated from University of Wisconsin Parkside in 2022. I am forever thankful to them and they have inspired me to be a better person. I am filled with joy, happiness, worthiness, and satisfaction when I can help others. It is crucial for me not only to live for myself but to assist others when they are in need.
